I borrowed my father-in-law's Honday Fr 500 and on the first tug of the cord, it came unwrapped. I looked in the manual to see how to reinstall it but it wasn't covered. Was curious if anyone else had a similar problem and if so, how they went about fixing it.

thanks to any suggestions...

I've never used an electric tiller before, but they sound kind of interesting for small jobs.

How do they compare to gas tillers?
Are they just good for ready-to-go flower gardens, or will they really tear up the dirt?

First let me explain I am asolutely new to gardening. I never had a house with a garden before always lived in a flat.

So I do not want to spend a big amount of money in my first gardening experiences.

I like to start with a place for a few herbals.

Is it possible to rent a mini -tiller?
At this point I do not want to buy one.

I'm getting ready to start a garden and I need to buy a tiller. I need one that is big enough to tear into hard ground that has not been tilled. I want good quality but not over priced.
Any suggestions?!
